This is a project site for Alternative Independent Resources (AIR).

"What is AIR - Alternative Independent Resource?
Most people understand what alternative energy sources represent. By using alternative energy sources (solar, hydroelectric etc.) we reduce our need for fossil fuels. However there is so much more that we can do. There are alternative means for producing food, disposing of waste, reducing waste, utilizing waste, telecommunication, transportation, medicine etc.. Many of you are familiar with some of these concepts. AIR is not just about alternative energy but many other resources as well.
It would seem that these methods when implemented on a large scale fail because municipalities favor convenience, efficiency, and economy. These concepts are illusions. In truth the convenience is coming at a very high cost and the cost is rising exponentially. It is upon You and I to change the way we do things independent of municipality.
An AIR project is an effort to utilize alternative resources independent of municipality."
