I am an international Second Year Masters student at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Toronto, Canada.

To conserve and manage natural resources and improve food production by use of low cost, sustainable technologies.

  • [top] [end]Knowledgeable in agricultural systems in tropical countries.

  • I have been involved in research in the utilization of organic farming, Minjingu rock phosphate and "rhizobia" inoculants to improve soil fertility and enhance food production.
  • Interested in establishing a forest of Neem, "Azadirachta indica" trees on a large scale. More information on this tree and its various uses can be found in www.neemfoundation.org/thera.htm
  • I am also interested in conservation of energy, utilization of solar energy and renewable sources of energy.
  • I enjoy the challenge of working and communicating with farmers and sharing knowledge in the field.
  • I am computer literate.
  • I have good typing, report writing and editing skills.
  • I am highly motivated, eager to learn and interact with professionals, peers and the community
