The following headings may be useful:[top] [end]Who am II am the Executive Director of the International Renewable Resource Institute, Mexico, a non-profit renewable energy and resource management organization based out of Mexico City (www.irrimexico.org). I am also in charge of the Mexico Biogas Program, an IRRI-Mexico based initiative to increase the capacity of household and industrial biogas use. We work with communities, NGOs, Government Agencies and private firms to promote the use of anaerobic digesters to process a number on organic wastes and produce biogas throughout the country. I am also completing a Master’s of Science degree at the Humboldt State University in the Energy, Environment and Society program (http://www.humboldt.edu/~ere_dept/grad/cat/eesgradhome.php) where my current research is examining the use of Carbon Markets to promote small scale renewable energy development, with biodigesters as the main focus. My work is supported by a Switzer Environmental Leadership Fellowship (www.switzernetwork.org) and by the State of California.alex@...
