Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI)

Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI) came into existence with a munificent donation from Late Shri Nanubhai Amin, Chairman, Jyoti Limited, Vadodara. The land and buildings were provided by the Charutar Vidya Mandal. It was inaugurated by late Dr. H.M. Patel, the then Union Minister of Home, Govt. of India on January 27, 1979.

Its mission is to develop technologies and provide services to promote the use and application of renewable energy. It is an Institute that strives for promotion of renewable energy through Research, Extension and Consultancy
