Journals (printed and online)
Boiling Point is a
HEDON journal for
those working with stoves and household energy. It deals with
technical, social, financial and environmental issues and aims to
improve the quality of life for poor communities living in the
developing world. If you do not receive
Boiling Point and would like to do so, please
login to HEDON and then under 'Manage Subscriptions' select
'subscribe' for Boiling Point. This feature may be found under the
welcome/user centre page for logged in users. The editor would

Energy for Sustainable Development, published by IEI (the
International Energy
Initiative) aims to enhance communication between Northern and
Southern energy actors on energy goals and policies as well as with
energy plans and projects in developing countries. It also aims to
promote South-South interactions to tackle these problems. Topics
include renewables and end use efficiency (in the industrial,
transport, domestic, commercial and agricultural sectors),
generation (including development) of energy technologies and their
dissemination, and hardware (for the conversion of primary energy
as found in nature into convenient secondary energy, for
transmission/transport and distribution and for utilisation in
enduse devices) and software (relating to energy policies,
institutions, management and financing). Back issues are available
online.
GLOW, the newsletter of
ARECOP, was started in 1991 with the intention of

development, and means of improving program components. GLOW is a
forum for exchange of experiences and ideas on cookstoves and
related issues and is published on a quarterly basis. Recent
editions of GLOW can be downloaded from
www.arecop.org/resources/glow.php. Correspondence with
the GLOW editors is with email address

sources of energy across the country. Each issue of the newsletter
has reports on national and international developments, technical
