How to make a new page
It's easy to make a new page in the forum. Here are a few guidelines which might help:
- Only registered (and logged in) users can add (or edit) pages. So what are you waiting for - join the network
- All new pages link from an existing page, so the first step is to find the most appropriate topic or page related to your new topic.
- Click on 'Edit this page' on the existing related page.
- Edit the text and add a new page reference. A page reference starts with [[, contains a few carefully chosen words (the name) and ends with ]]. It's important to make good pagenames.
- Click on the update button. If your new page doesn't exist yet, you will see an undefined pagename link ending in a question mark (?) like this this page does not exist? (please preserve this example by not creating this page!)
- Click on the undefined page name link and add your content. It's a good idea to sign your contribution.
