Public private partnership between the World Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association (WLPGA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Designed to support the achievement of critical energy-related sustainable development goals, specifically poverty reduction, environmental protection, and economic growth. Addresses barriers to meeting the thermal energy needs (heating, cooking, and heat using productive processes) of rural and peri-urban populations in developing countries through expanded use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Supporting multi-stakeholder dialogue in the pilot countries (China, Ghana, Honduras, Morocco, South Africa and Vietnam) and developing national project activities. Additional financial resources are being mobilized from private sector partners in the LP Gas industry.
