  • NINE PARAFFIN (KEROSENE) STOVES FAIL SAFETY TESTS

Nine paraffin (also called kerosene) stoves commonly used in South Africa have failed safety tests carried out by the South African Paraffin Safety Association.

  • LAUNCH OF THE TRIODOS RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR DEVELOPMENT FUND

The Triodos Renewable Energy for Development Fund supports renewable energy for off grid rural areas. The Fund will make investments (loans, guarantees and limited ?seed capital?) in the range of Euro 100,000 to Euro 250,000.
