This project was part funded by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP). The purpose of the project is to mainstream participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME) approaches into renewable energy programmes. Drawing on past/current experience and best practice the project included fieldwork on "live" projects to develop and document techniques further. The project also developed a toolkit outlining participatory techniques and methods to enable organisations and communities who install and implement energy technology systems to check the efficiency and effectiveness of their work. The toolkit describes how to listen to users, take account of their opinions and make them active players in the installation and delivery of renewable energy systems. If you would want a copy of the toolkit or you wish to receive a full electronic copy of this toolkit (6MB), please email us at this address: kavita.rai@...
