ECO Consulting Group

ECO Consulting Group offers specialized services in Forest Policy, Forest Management, Silviculture and neighbouring thematic areas. The consultancy, established in 1992, also contributes to new concepts and practices in nature conservation and sustainable tourism. Rural development and poverty reduction require capacity building measures such as group development, mediation and participatory extension which will also be furnished by ECO. From the beginning, household energy has been one of ECO’s major focuses, with studies carried out primarily in West Africa. More than 25 longterm projects and a large number of shortterm missions have been implemented by ECO. The staff of ECO consists of 30 permanent professionals at the moment
