The fourth round of the WISIONS initiative has been announced

The WISIONS initiative is starting the fourth round of its Sustainable Energy Project Support (SEPS) and are looking for promising concepts and innovative projects in the field of renewable energy or energy efficiency.

The WISIONS initiative is starting the fourth round of its Sustainable Energy Project Support (SEPS). We are looking for promising concepts and innovative projects in the field of renewable energy or energy efficiency. Projects shall be technical feasible, environmentally friendly, include social aspects and have a sound implementation strategy to name some of the main criteria. The deadline for submission is 1 August 2007. Applications can be submitted under www.wisions.net

SEPS

As for the last three years, the Wuppertal Institute for Environment, Climate and Energy through the WISIONS initiative is asking organisations throughout the world to send us their project proposals to be eligible for a grant or other support.

Our main goal is to encounter environmentally sound projects that use modern existing technologies, demonstrate the advantages of sound energy solutions and integrate local people to allow acceptance and further replication.

With last year's round, in total 25 projects were chosen and received short term financial support and professional advice under the SEPS concept. Information on the previous SEPS project can be found on our webpage here

WISIONS is funded and organised with the support of the Swiss-based foundation ProEvolution.
