CarbonSIG is undergoing some changes as part of a HEDON wide drive to improve site content and aid better networking between members.
Firstly, many thanks to Liz Bates for her work so far in developing CarbonSIG. With over 130 members signed up and some stimulating discussions via the email list, Liz has now moved on to repeat her good works at CleanAirSIG.
So now it's a quick hello from me. My name is James Robinson and I'm the new moderator for CarbonSIG. Over the coming months we are looking to develop the SIG's further and so keep your eyes open for some exciting new changes that are on the way!
See the CarbonSIG page here.
CarbonSIG is looking for sponsors! Are you a carbon offset company looking to raise your profile? Or how about an NGO looking to get involved with cook stoves? If you are interested then please click here.
CarbonSIG, HEDON’s Cooking and Carbon Special Interest Group, was established last year and connects all those engaged in greenhouse gas emission reduction, carbon sequestration, and climate adaptation who are working to create a sustainable environment that benefits those living in poverty through information, discussion and action around improved household energy.
CarbonSIG has already attracted 130 participants, with leading representatives from universities and research organisations, governments, private companies, NGOs and the voluntary carbon sector.
