Next IssueBoiling Point are looking for submissions for the next issue entitled 'BP54: Improved energy access for local institutions'.Where groups of people find thenselves gathered, institutional stoves and lighting can be important to their well-being. Clean and efficient institutional stoves can provide food for schools, hospitals, prisons and can assist where communal facilities are needed in emergency situations. Bread and other stable foods can be cooked on a community basis. Street lighting can allow markets to trade for longer and people to feel safe. Generators owned by the community can allow people to light their homes. Hospitals and clinics need a 'cold chain' to keep vaccines in food order. This edition is not only interested in the technologies, but also in the infrastructure to make them work: tariffs, energy efficiency, impacts, communal responsibilities and maintenance etc. If you have experience of these issues and would like to submit an article, please contact boilingpoint@...
