ENERGIA Call for Proposals: Gender in Energy Projects/Markets

ENERGIA, the International Network on Gender and Sustainable Energy, is inviting proposals for mainstreaming gender into existing energy projects/markets. Through its "Gender in Energy Projects / Markets" strategy, ENERGIA aims to provide both expertise and resources to mainstream gender approaches in existing energy access projects in Asia and Africa. This will include:
In this context, ENERGIA is pleased to invite its National Focal Points, their partner institutions and other stakeholders to submit project proposals to mainstream gender approaches into existing energy projects. This applies to the following countries: In Asia: Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Lao PDR, Philippines and Indonesia. In Africa: Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Lesotho, Botswana, Swaziland, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
