EWB-UK are an international development organisation that removes barriers to development through engineering. Our programmes provide opportunities for young people to learn about technology's role in tackling poverty. Supported by the EWB-UK community, our members can work on projects around the globe. The EWB-UK research conference is organised by the research programme.The EWB-UK Research Programme is one of our most direct contributions to alleviating poverty across the globe by creating greater links between academic institutions and partner organisations working in the development sector through research.

Welcome to the online EWB-UK National Research Conference of 2011

This E-conference will be held in March 2011. Papers and articles submitted will be available to view shortly.

The Research and Education Conference is a one day event designed to bring students, academics, professionals and development practitioners together to discuss the role of engineers and technology in international development, with a particular focus on the work and study from EWB-UK’s Research and Education Programmes.
