The Sustainable Fuel Partnership is a research and development initiative that is studying the viability of establishing a new market-based mechanism that would support additional financial resources to projects that enhance and promote sustainable transport and urban development, and manage overall fuel demand and use in developing countries across the Asia and Pacific region.

One of the components of the study is on Economic Modelling. It involves the calculation and estimation of impacts of various oil-saving scenarios on the global prices of oil and on oil price elasticities, both in the short- and long-term. Interested firms may send their Expression of Interest (EOI) online. The EOI template may be accessed in the advertisement page provided above. Unless already registered, the applicant will be requested to register with ADB's Consulting Management System (CMS) prior to completing and submitting an EOI.

Please note that the deadline for submission of EOI is on 17 December 2010. A selection team will evaluate all applications received and prepare a shortlist. The firms that will make it to this list will be informed of the next step of the process.
