An international course for the public and private sector on energy, environmental and climate change projects.

Organized by: CSTM – Twente Centre for Studies in Technology and Sustainable Development, University of Twente, the Netherlands with the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, ITC, the Netherlands and the UNEP Risoe Centre, Denmark

The aim of the course is to develop participants’ skills in writing fundable proposals in the field of energy, environment and climate change with particular focus on CDMs. In this way, the participants can contribute to the sustainable development of their countries.

Our short courses have been approved for the Nuffic NFP short course list. If you are admitted to our course you can request for a NFP fellowship. Potential applicants who intend to apply for NFP funding are advised that the deadline for funding applications is October 1, 2010. For more information on this fellowship please visit the Nuffic website Please note that you will need a letter of admission from University of Twente before applying for NFP funding for this course.

In the past, international organizations such as UNIDO, UNDP, the World Bank, ESCAP, Commission of the European Communities etc., as well as national organizations, have made fellowships available for the course. Potential candidates are therefore advised to explore various funding possibilities in their respective countries.
