GVEP International seeks from all it's staff the following qualities: a commitment to poverty alleviation and empowerment of the poor; experience in a complex multicultural organisation; experience with the role of business in the sustainable development arena, preferably energy; good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills; fluency in English and other regional language(s) desirable.

Both positions are based in Nairobi, Kenya and may involve extensive travel within the region. Please note that submitted applications may be considered for future GVEP International positions in the region.

GVEP International, a UK-based non government organisation with its head office in London, was established in 2006 by the Global Village Energy Partnership in order to develop and carry out activities to improve energy access and promote innovative approaches to the provision of energy services in developing countries.
