The Clean Energy Marketplace will provide a platform for some of Asia’s most promising clean energy technologies, businesses, and projects to be promoted to private sector investors, financiers, and international funding agencies. The Clean Energy Marketplace will showcase, in a poster session, clean energy solutions that are seeking financing, from 2:00-3:30pm on June 24th, the second day of the Asia Clean Energy Forum. The Clean Energy Marketplace will be an important part of a week of events at the Asian Development Bank, during which Forum participants will have the opportunity to learn about new technology, policy, and finance initiatives through both formal and informal dialogue with the more than 700 members of the private sector, public sector, civil society and academia expected to attend.


Please note that applications are invited by 31 May for the Clean Energy Marketplace Awards. On 24 June, during the Asia Clean Energy Forum in Manila, innovative clean energy projects, businesses, and technology pioneers will have the chance to promote their projects to investors, financiers and international funding agencies at the Clean Energy Marketplace. Selected participants will be able set up displays or posters to present their initiatives. Awards will be given for the best innovative clean energy technology, clean energy business model and clean energy project. Proposals must be submitted by 31 May 2010.

The Asia Clean Energy Forum will also include an Open Space Session on 24 June, which provides an opportunity for project leaders to participate and present if they are not included in the main conference program. The Open Space Session will comprise panel discussions, roundtables and presentations on project development proposals and research findings. Proposals must be submitted by 31 May 2010.
