REGISTRATION CLOSES 27 NOVEMBER 2009

As climate change becomes increasingly urgent, more people are seeking to expand their understanding of the issues which surround it. This course not only clarifies the basics, such as how weather differs to climate, but also explores the myriad of factors that impact the negotiation processes involving our governments as they discuss this global crisis.

Practical Action has a wealth of experience in working with those currently facing the realities of climate change - the poor in the less developed world - and will showcase some of the projects it has already delivered to help people adapt their lifestyles and infrastructure in the face of their changing environment.

The course attracts a very high calibre of attendees, with booking lists boasting Directors of NGOs and Heads of Policy. There are excellent networking opportunities throughout the day.

This date is timed with December's 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in mind, as well as being a day before the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition's 'The Wave' event, also in London.

To confirm your place, please complete the booking form and send it, along with payment, to the address provided on the form.
