GERES has developed a learning-centered collection of training modules that allows attendees to understand concepts through practical exercises and facilitates thorough exploration of issues through discussion and interaction with fellow participants and the trainer.

The training will provide conceptual and practical understanding of the forces causing climate change, the global legal and institutional framework that is currently in place to address climate change, mechanisms to deal with climate change, and the dynamics of opportunities arising from carbon markets.

This six-day course is suitable for environmental NGOs, environmental project developers, businesses and other institutions seeking to interact with emerging environmental markets.
