I am a stove developer of micro-gasification cookstoves. Yes, they are very clean burning and can be very efficient (a factor of stove structure and pot position, not just a factor of burning the fuel well.)

You might want to visit: www.chipenergy.com to see more about the small gasifiers, especially the "Third World Stoves" section listed on the menu there.

I expect to be doing a gasifier stove project in the Hyderabad area of India starting in August or September.
