CarbonAided Limited, United Kingdom

CarbonAided is a small, ethical for-profit, company providing a wide range of services to organisations wishing to develop carbon management strategies. Activities include: developing carbon footprints; identification of ways to reduce the footprints by internal measures; and preparing an offsetting strategy to deal with what cannot be reduced internally. CarbonAided also assists project developers and owners to validate and verify carbon emission reductions which are genuinely additional to business as usual.

CarbonAided is interested in seeking ways to mobilise carbon finance for projects which have a high developmental impact and contribute to the achievement of the MDGs. In particular the improvement in health that could be achieved from provision of clean cook stoves is an area that their Adviser - Sustainability Projects (Dick Jones) is working on. Project developers are invited to contact Dick in the first instance - dickjones@... - to explore the possibilities.
