Founder 'CO2benefits' - fair-trade carbon offsets for community forest resource management - Africa - See the following webpage http://www.restoreuk.org

I have a wide experience researching funding solutions for tropical deforestation, particularly the potentials of environmental services markets. I have provided field oversight for Social Impact Assessment of a major development project in Liberia I have worked with a range of organisations including drafting the 'co2benefits' program on behalf of Greenbelt Movement International and WCS. I am dedicated to propogating justice based solutions to climate change and tropical deforestation. Developing processes and capacity to empower local communities in SSA to benefit directly from global carbon markets through community forest resource management.

Specialities include Social Impact Assessment, ICS in rural contexts, Project finance, Climate Change, Tropical deforestation, Voluntary carbon markets.

Groups and associations include APPCCG, Ape Alliance (Carbon and Palm Oil working Groups), Trade Justice Movement, CEDAR
