• Over 6 years working with the household energy issues at the Ministry of Energy as the Ag. Director Renewable energy.
• Was the focal officer for the Inter Governmental Authority on Development‘s European Union funded Household Energy Project
• Worked on Energy demand survey for domestic household, small service establishments and small industries project funded by the World Bank, 2000
• Engaged in drafting of a new energy policy for the republic of Kenya now being discussed by parliament
• Has participated in various fora discussing energy issues including household energy like the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg Sept 26 – September 2002 and G15 Summit meetig of heads of state and Governments in Jarkarta in 2001.
