Page of Anil RautMy name is Anil K. Raut and I am from Nepal. Currently, I am working on carbon management issues based in Tsukuba, Japan. I am working for last seven years in the field of air pollution, energy and climate change. I was involved in air pollution monitoring, air pollution health impact study, knowledge management, GHG and air pollution mitigation research and also climate change, mainly the clean development mechanism (CDM). I have also worked on indoor air pollution and child health research along with energy efficiency and CDM project development in the industrial and household sector for Winrock International Nepal. I have published numerous articles, papers on air pollution, climate change issues relating to Nepal. My interest is to work on policy research, action research, emission inventory and knowledge management in the field of air pollution and climate change.Working in the field of air quality, I also realised that as we give preference to urban air quality, the other side of the health burden, indoor air pollution, is relatively neglected. I am therefore keen to contribute to the knowledge base and aware people worldwide to fight this cause of rural health burden together. I have written a article about problem of indoor air pollution in Nepalese household for OneWorld and that article quite a bit touched my personal attention too. You can read my article here.
