User guide: Subscribe to SIG's and Publications

To subscribe to Special Interest Groups, Boiling Point and other publications you will first need to join the HEDON Community.

Fill in your details at the Home Page and you will be notified by email of your login details once your application has been approved. As a subscriber you will also receive our monthly newsletter, and can join our Special Interest Groups like CarbonSIG and the CleanAirSIG without delay.

1. At the Home page there are several opportunities to subscribe:
  • Go to 'Introducing HEDON' - sign up here, or;
  • scroll to the bottom of the page to subscribe and click on 'sign up', or;
  • in the Community login area 'subscribe' is highlighted in blue, click on the blue text.


2. Complete the form with your name and email details. You will then be sent a password which will give you access to the 'User centre' where you can manage your subscriptions.



3. Once received, go to the Home page and login with your email and password. You can also edit and update your personal details while in this page.

4. There are tabs in the 'user centre' you can click on to give you the whole listing of publications and groups available to you.



5. 'My Groups and subs' - listed here are the groups and publications you have already subscribed to - click on the 'subscribe button to add more.



6. The 'Subscriptions Directory' offers you the chance to subscribe to Boiling Point and the HEDON newsletter.

7. The 'Groups Directory' - you can choose to subscribe to as many of the Special Interest Groups as you like. You will receive confirmation that your subscription was successful when you join.

8. 'External Subs' - you can subscribe to a number of external discussions and publications.

9. When you have completed any amendments on this page you may continue to look around the website or logout by clicking on 'logout'.
