"Experiences from Berkley Air"" by Jessica Marter-Kenyon

Jessica will present an overview of Berkeley Air Monitoring Group, a social venture that conducts scientific monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of initiatives designed to improve health and well being through improved household stoves, fuels, and education. Jessica will also discuss a case study of a Berkeley Air project before opening a general discussion on issues relating to M&E, carbon finance, and stove commercialization.

Jessica Marter-Kenyon was an Associate at Berkeley Air Monitoring Group for two years, contributing to the evaluation of household energy projects in countries such as Mali, Uganda, China and India. She received her BA in 2007 in Development Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. This fall, she began her MSc program in Environment and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
