Center for Entrepreneurship in International Health and Development (CEIHD)

The Household Energy and Health Division (HEH) of the Center for Entrepreneurship in International Health and Development (CEIHD) at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health, "works to improve the well-being of women and children in developing countries by providing access to cleaner fuels and less polluting stoves. CEIHD promotes the use of entrepreneurial approaches to achieve its goals."

With funding from the Shell Foundation in 2004, CEIHD provided technical assistance in monitoring and evaluation to household energy practitioners, and their website contains a wealth of valuable tools to help projects and NGOs understand and maximize the effectiveness of household energy interventions.
