[top] [end] Congratulations to the winner of BP57 cover competitionCongratulations to Trisha Marlow for winning our photo competition for the cover of this issue of Boiling Point.The photograph was taken as Trisha ascended the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. There was frost in the air and snow on the peaks. The woman was resting on her way home with a load of firewood, a route she had taken many many times before. The route was a busy one as the day drew on: women struggling on with fuel. The photo will reach over 5000 addresses worldwide (48% Africa, 29% Asia) in addition to the 250 sent to our sponsors, and a digital version to over 330 online subscribers. We are looking for a full colour photograph for the front cover that illustrates the theme of BP58 - MarketingMore specifically the photo must be: of good quality format and suitable for high resolution colour printing (A minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a higher quality file type i.e. not .bmp); sent to us in it's original format (not pasted into an MS Word file); credited to the correct person, with a caption if appropriate; owned by the person/organisation entering the competition; and preferably have a central focal point, a bold composition and rich colours. The editor's decision is final and the selected photo will win absolutely nothing, apart from the admiration of our 2000+ subscribers and of course our thanks.
