Thanks to Berkeley Air and Debra Stein for getting this going! -Andree

I left a comment yesterday Feb 17. why can I not see it? where would I find it? can somebody help me with that?

Since my first comment didn't make, it here I go again: I'm really excited about the start of a BAyAreaRIG, giving me the chance of meeting the Darfur Stove Project people and others interested in stoves/ household energy in the Berkeley area. I live down in Monterey and feel kind of isolated regarding this issue. Unfortunately I will be out of the country for your first meeting! I hope there will be many more that I definitely plan to attend.

Gabriele- Thanks for the note and sorry that you won't be able to attend the first meet-up. We plan to take turns holding quarterly meetings throughout the Bay Area. The next one will most likely take place in San Francisco. Stay tuned for updates!

It's been almost a year since the last meeting. Won't sombody organize another one so that the BayArea RIG doesn't end after a sible meet-up. I'm just heading to the Ethos conference in Seattle. anybody else from our area going? If not I could report afterwards.

  • A practitioner's journal on household energy, stoves and poverty reduction.
