A TV-Style Debate on Healthy and Affordable Household Energy

Side Event on Indoor Air Pollution at the 15th session of the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development at the United Nations in New York on Monday, 7 May 2007

This TV-Style debate on healthy and affordable household energy will address the question on how can we ensure access to healthy and affordable household energy? Some of the world's experts on household energy, indoor air pollution and health will propose their solutions. Each of them will get 3 minutes to deliver his or her vision and then will be challenged by the other panellists before they move into the "hot seat" themselves. During the last 30 minutes the discussion will be open to the audience.

The event is hosted by WHO, Ecowas, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, GTZ, Practical Action, and PCIA.
