The overall goal of the SEE Forum is to promote “New Energy Initiatives” and to seek academic, scientific and technological cooperation that will contribute to the global climate and energy security issues. In this context, the Joint International Conference on “Innovations for Renewable Energy: How Science can help” (IRE) that combines “Innovations for Environmental Actions” Symposium and “7th SEE Forum” Meeting will be held at Hanoi University of Science (HUS), Vietnam during 20th – 23rd September 2010. This Joint International Conference will bring a sound effect towards the entire framework of the SEE Forum (www.seeforum.net). In the present era of high-energy consumption in every sphere of life, renewable energy sources are emerging as alternatives to conventional fuels for energy security. In Asian region, renewable energy sources are abundantly available and can provide energy security to most of its areas. The barriers to improving renewable energy utilizing ASEAN countries are the weakness of governments’ policies and lack of cheap technologies for numerous numbers of farmers. You are encouraged to present innovative and thought provoking ideas and to request for comments on works in progress.All submissions will be peer-reviewed by an international review panel based on scientific quality, relevance to the conference themes and originality before being accepted. Those accepted for oral presentations are required to submit the full-paper version. The abstracts and full-papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Please send your abstract as an extended abstract containing about 2,000 characters.
