The E-MINDSET project is now on HEDON

A new project has been added to the HEDON Knowledge Base. E-MINDSET: Energising the Millennium Development Goals - Setting the Enabling Environment in Southern Africa

The project seeks to address the structural problems in linking energy planning and poverty reduction in the Southern Africa region. Its specific objectives are to: <ol> <li> develop toolkits and strengthen partners’ capacity in knowledge transfer and linking planning and development </li> <li> improve communities’ capacity to link energy planning and development </li> <li>influence energy policy and regulatory framework to reflect and prioritise energy requirements for attaining MDG (Millenium Development Goals) targets </li> <li>disseminate tools for linking energy and the MDGs. </li> </ol>
